In the context of the Road Map to Democracy the media institutions have to be reformed. In a first phase the State Media ( Radio- Voice of Maldives, TV -TVM) will be trained a.o. in Broadcasting Management and independent journalism and in a second phase the Print Media will be addressed. The GOM ( Government of Maldives) has committed seed funds. Donors are being contacted.
